2.3. Printing Samples were printed on an EOS M290 device, see Fig. 2, which works on the principle of DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering). For printing test samples, the default preset optimized parameters of the 'EOS_DirectPart' set were selected. The samples were printed in the Z direction using a ceramic powder coater. The main reason for choosing this orientation was the requirement to test samples without subsequent machining.

2.4. Fatigue testing Fatigue tests were performed on the MTS Bionix 370.02 Axial/Torsional electro-hydraulic testing machine, see Fig. 3.
