Conclusion In this paper, we propose a framework for structural reliability analysis that combines support vector regression (SVR) and the conjugate first-order reliability method (CFORM). To demonstrate the capability of the SVR-CFORM method, an illustrative example of LSF with high nonlinearity was used. The proposed method's accuracy and robustness were compared to the Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS), CFORM, and HL-RF methods. Furthermore, the effects of SVR hyper-parameters on reliability index results were investigated. The results show that the proposed SVR-CFORM method is more efficient than the CFORM and HL-RF methods, and that the selection of SVR hyper - parameters has a significant impact on the accuracy of the results. SVR-CFORM, on the other hand, can effectively reduce the computational burden of calculation when compared to the traditional MCS.
