For the sake of completeness, Figure 9 reports the deformed meshed configurations for the considered cases at the final simulation step, coinciding with the complete separation of the specimen. In particular, it can be observed the capability of the proposed Moving Mesh approach to track the crack path without excessive remeshing operation and keeping a coarse mesh far from the current crack tip, ultimately leading to a notable saving of computational effort. Finally, it can be deduced that the proposed fracture approach is very effective in predicting the failure response of nano-filled UHPFRC members under general loading conditions ( i.e. , involving crack propagation along nonprescribed paths).
