From Figs. 4, 8 lower values of G c are observed in the case of thinner rod. In addition, for n z (=3, 4) some discrepancies of G c are also observed in Fig. 8. Similarly lower values for E c (Figs. 5, 9), are observed in the case of a thinner rod. It should be also noted that the E c has higher value for small pentamode heights. Finally, a comparison of G c and E c for pentamodes with confinement plates is made (Figs. 10, 11).
