As expected, it is shown a gradually increase of Ni and Cr moving from the interface toward the HCS granule core.
4. Conclusions A first attempt to produce Inconel 718-High Carbon Steel bi-metallic parts via FDMS was described. The main results can be summarized as follows: IN718 showed a quite good sintering grade, while HCS sintered only partially, resulting in a high amount of porosity inside the FDMS parts; a consistent volume shrinkage and sample distortion was induced by the debinding and sintering heat treatment; different secondary phases (i.e.: Leaves phases) were detected in sintered IN718 powder;
