and microrelief formed on the fracture surface of titanium specimens as a result of loading were studied using the fractal analysis technique. More instructive results can be attributed to changes in both lower and upper scales reflecting more pronounced features of strain localization. The values of spatial scales can be used to predict crack propagation kinetics under fatigue loading by Naimark (2021), Oborin (2019). Understanding of these mechanisms and the development of nondestructive methods for controlling crack nucleation and growth under these conditions are the issues of crucial importance in the assessment of endurance and the development of safety standards for advanced engines.
