where μ is the frictional coefficient on the crack surfaces, is Poisson's ratio, K II is the mode II stress intensity factor. The Burgers creep model In this paper, it is assumed that microcracks are embedded in Burgers viscoelastic rock matrix with the characteristic of instantaneous elastic deformation, primary creep and steady-rate creep.
