Participants of the 51st С onference on current problems of mechanics in Veliky Novgorod, Russia. From May 27 to May 31, 2024 the 18th International Conference on Mechanics, Resource, and Diagnostics of Materials and Structures was held in Ekaterinburg, organized by the Institute of Engineering Science. Since 2021, the conference has been held under the patronage of the 17th TC of the ESIS. The scope of the conference includes the following topics: mechanics of damage and fracture; structural aspects of deformation and fracture; testing and diagnostics of materials and structures; materials with multilevel hierarchical structure; modeling and simulation of materials with multilevel hierarchical structure; fluid mechanics in engineering and living systems. The conference was attended by 242 participants from many regions of Russia.
