The collapse was predicted at the load of 463 kN for pristine and at 415kN for the cracked panel. The debonding of webs from the skin occurred, and then as a result, the stringer cracked. The status after reaching maximum load level is presented in Fig. 5a for the pristine and in Fig. 5b for the cracked panel. The debonding of the web from the skin initiated at the third stringer in the back-side view for the pristine panel. It extended along the stringer with subsequent failure and further another stringer had also debonded and cracked in the same way. Debonding in the cracked panel began at one crack front and then also the web had been separating from the skin at the second crack front. The other webs debonded after the failure of the centre stringer. The final total separation of the skin from webs, and caps from webs, occurred for both panels in correspondence with the test.
