allowable damage is considered as Dalw = 1.0, and is equivalent to the number of cycles till failure Nf , which is the allowable number of cycles, represented by the red circle in Fig.9. The total damage Dtot is equivalent to the number of cycles n represented by the black circle. Moreover, the total damage can be calculated as stated by Eqs.1 and 2 (Fatemi & Vang 1998, Schoenborn et.al. 2015).
