Post-weld treatments

The post-weld improvement techniques chosen either ultrasonic impact treatment (UIT)

[21] or ultrasonic peening (UP) [22]. Both devices are hand held units powered with

ultrasonic generator. Ultrasonic elements within the body of the device cylindrical
